We love our volunteers! We are always in need of volunteers, whether you can help out once a year or once a week! Regular volunteer needs include theatre ushers, gallery docents, and other special events (such as Music in the Park).

Volunteers play a critical role in bringing many of our programs to the community, including Music in the Park, musical and theater performances, workshops, and classes.

Authorization to Conduct a Criminal Background Check

As an applicant to work as a volunteer for the Grinnell Area Arts Council, I hereby authorize GAAC staff to conduct a background investigation to determine my qualification to volunteer in this program. I understand that the background investigation will be conducted solely for the purpose of protecting and preventing any harm to participants in GAAC programs and all information obtained in this check will be treated as confidential. GAAC staff will have access to this as needed. By signing this application I grant permission for this record check.
