Illness/Covid-19 Information

1. The Arts Council strongly encourages mask-wearing for individuals exhibiting any illness symptoms. If Poweshiek county’s Covid-19 Community Level is HIGH by CDC standards, signs will be posted encouraging all staff, students, and visitors to wear masks while in Arts Council facilities.

2. Staff, students and visitors who are ill, where with a positive Covid-19 diagnosis or otherwise, are asked to stay home. Click on this easy guide for Covid testing and isolation guidelines.

3. Education Classes/Studio 6: If a class participant exhibits illness symptoms while in attendance, we will ask the participant to isolate and, if applicable, contact their family/guardian or emergency contact for pickup. If a student has a positive Covid-19 diagnosis within their immediate family, they may attend class wearing a mask. We encourage students to follow this easy guide for testing timelines.
